Florida Native, Charly Reynolds, is an 19 year old singer/songwriter from Orlando, Florida who recently moved to Nashville, TN to pursue her dream of being a country music artist. She has stolen the hearts of her hometown, beginning with her local performances in Orlando at venues including Stardust Coffee and Digital Video, Friendly Confines, Johnny’s Fillin’ Station, Night of Joy at Walt Disney World, the Walt Disney Amphitheater. She recently performed her original song Wonderland, in the all new and nationally televised Orlando Citrus Parade. She has opened for acts such as Billy Dean, Montgomery Gentry, Jim Brown and Andy Griggs since her move to Nashville.

Charly released her first single on iTunes, Underneath the Stars, on Dec. 30, 2015, the same day, stories about her performance at Disney's Night of Joy were released in One Country and Taste of Country Magazine. Later, Charly released her next three singles in 2016, Stupid Love Song, Need You By My Side and Get Over Yourself. In 2017, Charly released her 11 song debut album, Kickin’ Up Dust, on iTunes, May 19, 2017. She had her first release concert that night at the Walt Disney Amphitheatre. It was a huge success as approximately 500 people showed supporting her, along with strangers passing by who stopped to watch the concert. She sold more than half of her Kickin’ Up Dust merchandise that she personally designed. The concert was sponsored by Auto Nation Cure Bowl, GreenGrass4Me, Chloe Lane Boutique and Douglas Crank.

Almost a year later, Charly released her sophomore EP, Kissed Us Goodbye, April 14, 2018. The album takes listeners on a journey through Charly’s experiences of love, heartbreak, and the importance of family. Charly worked with Tavie Basarich, (writer) owner of Winter Park Music Academy, Toby Waters, (writer) her former PE coach and Brooks Paschal (producer) on this EP. Charly held her second release concert at the Walt Disney Amphitheatre and it was a huge success. She sold her merchandise, took meet & greet pictures with fans and shared her love for music through her songs. Despite the lights at the Amphitheatre not coming on, her father, Jim Reynolds, saved the evening by shining his truck headlights on her, the show must go on!

"The concert could not have gone any better," Reynolds said. “Of course the lights not working was the last thing I could’ve expected to happen, but the show must go on and I think it added a little more fun to the show! Walking out on stage to my first single on the EP, Wonderland, seeing all the friendly faces, reminded me of the amazing support system that I am so blessed to have. In that moment, I knew that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life."

On January 8, 2019, Charly released her new single, Shelby’s Song along with the music video on YouTube as well as Facebook. The video has taken off with over 25,000 views in 3 days. The video was also posted on CMT.com’s homepage on February 11, 2019. The song tells the story of a family going through a divorce with a child, told from the mothers perspective. When writing this song along with Toby Waters and Tavie Basarich, they captured the vision of what unfortunetly goes on with a lot of families around the world. Although this isn't telling her story, she is a child of divorce, and she stated that it’s hard for everyone involved no matter the circumstances.

Charly also enjoys baking, hanging out with friends, golfing, dancing, volunteering and playing with her dogs, Benji and Dolly Pawton. We hope that you follow up with Charly's local events as well as new music. Follow her social media handles for the latest updates on events, new releases and subscribe to her YouTube channel as she plans to be posting new covers and miscellaneous videos, along with giveaways of merchandise.

"I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me and my career in country music. I think that my friends and fans really connect to the stories told through my songs. All my songs are influenced by events that I have experienced, and they are very important to me. Kickin' Up Dust and Kissed Us Goodbye were both a huge success, and I cannot wait for what comes next!" Reynolds said.
